FIGMA x HELLO KITTY

For one week, from 1 to 8 November, Hello Kitty and eleven Sanrio friends have moved into FigJam, Figma's online whiteboard, as cursors, stickers and templates. It is the first time a stand-up meeting has been chaired by My Melody.

MAISON MARGIELA x MANGA

Maison Margiela has released a manga! It's part of a special zine marking 20 years of the house's flagship in Tokyo's Ebisu, a building that used to be an electronics factory. The zine also includes staff memories, the story of the Tabi, collectors' interviews, a photo essay by Takashi Homma and a text by Yoshikatsu Yamato.

LOEWE x TIM BURTON

Tim Burton is the face of Loewe's Christmas campaign, and co-author of the collection itself. It's dedicated to The Nightmare Before Christmas, which makes this the most on-brand festive season Jack Skellington has ever had.

KIKO MILANO x STABILO

The highlighter that got you through every exam is now a lip product. The STABILO x KIKO MILANO Lip Mark(er) is a limited-edition matte lip stain in the iconic BOSS shape, angled tip and all: the flat side for a bold sweep of colour, the edge for defining the lip line.

BURBERRY x SMYTHSON

Two British houses, together for the first time, both clearly in the mood for a long winter indoors. Notebooks are handmade in Hertfordshire on Smythson's blue Featherweight paper, with endpapers printed with a London map from Burberry's winter runway. There are also chess and backgammon sets in crossgrain leather lined in House Check.

BOTTEGA VENETA x MOOMIN

The Moomins have gone intrecciato. Bottega Veneta has woven Tove Jansson's characters into a limited collection of leather goods. The Small Andiamo bag borrows the stripes of Moominmamma’s apron. Piccolo wallets come in the blue walls and red roof of the Moominhouse, or with a leather tassel that looks just like Moomin’s tail. A surprisingly seamless blend of luxury and Scandinavian childhood nostalgia.

PORSCHE x LA MARZOCCO

Round two, and this time it's the 1972 911 Carrera RS 2.7. The cup rail on the Linea Micra copies the car's famous "ducktail" spoiler, and each machine carries a "One of 911" plaque. It costs $7,911, naturally. The collection also includes a 1:18 model of the car with a tiny espresso machine — this toy car is the only Porsche we will ever be able to afford.

DENIM TEARS x ADIDAS ORIGINALS

Tremaine Emory's first adidas project wraps the Stan Smith and Superstar in the red, white and blue plaid of the "Ghana Must Go" bag, the cheap woven carryall you'll find everywhere from Canal Street to Peckham. The bag carries a heavy history of migration and displacement, and Emory turns it into a symbol of resilience, adding a Sankofa heart on the tongue. To launch it, a whole building near Canal Street station was wrapped in the same plaid.
