Hyper Culture Collective is an independent platform about art, fashion, pop culture, food, film, and the contradictions of contemporary life.
The idea of hyperculture comes from philosopher Byung-Chul Han’s concept of Hyperkulturalität — a state where culture is no longer divided into “high” and “low,” but exists as one continuous flow of images, references, aesthetics, ideas, and identities. Opera coexists with memes, contemporary art with reality television, philosophy with internet culture. We are interested in the places where these worlds collide!
Part media, part creative agency, Hyper Culture Collective publishes essays, interviews, criticism, guides, and visual stories while collaborating with artists, brands, institutions, and cultural projects.
Founded by cultural strategist and communication specialist Daria Konovalenko in London.
